Silk Thumb was incorporated in January, 1980. Since inception, we have been the subject of numerous newspaper articles in the Chicago Tribune, Chicago Sun-Times, the North Shores Pioneer Press, North Shore Magazine and Edgge Magazine. Chicago television stations, CBS and ABC, have both featured Silk Thumb on their respective news broadcasts. We have been referred to as a North Shore experience due to our innovative designs, collection of beautiful silk and fabric flowers, and impressive containers in elegant abundance in our vase gallery.
