Tempting Tropicals are produced by Mercon Ltd. of Lethe, St. James, Jamaica, West Indies. Mercon Ltd. started operation in 1982 for the purpose of cultivating and selling horticultural crops both locally and internationally. The crops produced include a variety of gingers, heliconias, anthuriums and local foliage. The ginger varieties include Red, Red Torch, Pink, Pink Torch, Rattlesnake, Shell and Beehive. The heliconia varieties include Rostrata, Yellow Bird, Caribea and Latispatha. Pastels, Red and Orange are the anthurium varieties. We have since expanded our activities to include eco-tourism, with the farm as a nature tour attraction.
