Can I get same-day delivery in Richardson?
Many local florists offer same-day delivery for orders placed before their cutoff time, commonly early to mid-afternoon. Confirm the exact cutoff with the florist when ordering.
What are typical delivery cutoffs and time windows?
Cutoffs vary by shop and day of the week; a typical same-day cutoff is around 2:00–3:00 PM. Delivery windows are usually morning or afternoon unless you request timed delivery (when available).
What if no one is home at the delivery address?
Florists may leave arrangements in a safe location, leave with a neighbor, or attempt re-delivery. Provide delivery instructions to avoid missed deliveries and mention gated access if required.
How should I care for flowers after delivery?
Trim stems at an angle, use clean water and a clean vase, remove leaves below the water line, change the water every 2–3 days, and keep arrangements out of direct heat and sunlight.
Can florists substitute flowers if a specific variety is unavailable?
Yes. Florists will often substitute with similar-seasonal blooms and colors to preserve the arrangement's style. If substitutions are not acceptable, request confirmation before the florist finalizes the order.
