Frequently Asked Questions
Who delivers flowers same-day in Double Springs, Alabama?
The Flowers Directory arranges same-day flower delivery in Double Springs through local partner florists. Order by 1:00 PM local time, Monday–Saturday (no Sunday delivery). $19.99 flat delivery fee, arrangements from $79.95. Order help: (888) 610-8262.
Is same-day flower delivery available in Double Springs?
Yes. Many local services offer same-day delivery for orders placed before the early-afternoon cutoff. Availability depends on stock and delivery routes, so order as early as possible.
How do I order flowers for a funeral or hospital visit?
When ordering, provide the recipient's full name, the delivery location, and any special instructions. Indicate that the delivery is for a service or hospital and request timely delivery if needed.
What happens if the recipient is not home at delivery?
Florists will follow your delivery notes—common options are leaving the arrangement in a sheltered spot, with a neighbor, or returning later. If you require hand delivery only, include that in your instructions.
Can florists substitute blooms if an item is out of stock?
Yes. If a chosen flower is unavailable, florists typically substitute with an arrangement of equal or greater value, using similar colors and styles. You can request no substitutions when ordering, but that may limit availability.
How can I make cut flowers last longer after delivery?
Trim stems at a 45-degree angle, use clean water and a clean vase, add flower food if provided, change the water every few days, and keep flowers out of direct sun and away from heat sources.
