Frequently Asked Questions
Who delivers flowers same-day in Redwood City, California?
The Flowers Directory arranges same-day flower delivery in Redwood City through local partner florists. Order by 1:00 PM local time, Monday–Saturday (no Sunday delivery). $19.99 flat delivery fee, arrangements from $79.95. Order help: (888) 610-8262.
Can I get same-day flower delivery in Redwood City?
Yes. Same-day delivery is often available for orders placed before the florist's local cutoff time, typically mid to late morning. Availability depends on inventory and route capacity.
What is the difference between same-day and next-day delivery?
Same-day delivery attempts to deliver within hours of ordering and is subject to cutoff times. Next-day delivery guarantees arrival the following day and offers more flexibility for special arrangements or out-of-season blooms.
Can flowers be delivered to hospitals and funeral homes in Redwood City?
Yes. Deliveries to hospitals and funeral homes are common but may follow facility rules. Provide full recipient details, department or chapel, and delivery instructions to avoid delays.
What should I know about substitutions?
If a specific bloom is unavailable, florists typically substitute with flowers of similar color and style. Substitutions maintain the arrangement’s look and are common during peak seasons or for out-of-season flowers.
How do I care for my delivered flowers?
Recut stems at an angle, use clean water, change water every 2–3 days, keep arrangements out of direct sun and heat, and remove wilted blooms to prolong freshness.
