Frequently Asked Questions
Who delivers flowers same-day in San Jose, California?
The Flowers Directory arranges same-day flower delivery in San Jose through local partner florists. Order by 1:00 PM local time, Monday–Saturday (no Sunday delivery). $19.99 flat delivery fee, arrangements from $79.95. Order help: (888) 610-8262.
Can I get same-day delivery in San Jose?
Yes. Same-day delivery is commonly available if you order before the florist's daily cutoff, which varies by shop. Orders placed after the cutoff are usually delivered the next day.
What should I include for delivery instructions?
Provide the recipient's full address, unit or suite number, any gate or access codes, and preferred delivery notes such as "leave with concierge" or "ring doorbell" to help ensure successful delivery.
How do I care for flowers after delivery?
Trim stems at an angle, place flowers in clean water and a clean vase, remove foliage below the waterline, change water every two days, and keep arrangements out of direct sunlight and away from heat.
Are substitutions made if a requested flower is unavailable?
Yes. If a specific bloom is unavailable, florists typically substitute with flowers of similar color, value, and style. You can request "no substitutions" but availability may then be limited.
Do florists deliver to hospitals and funeral homes?
Many florists deliver to hospitals and funeral homes. When sending to a medical facility or funeral location, include the recipient's full name and department or service details to ensure correct delivery.
