Can I get same-day flower delivery in Santa Cruz?
Many local florists offer same-day delivery if you order before the shop's cutoff time, which often falls in the early to mid-afternoon. Availability depends on the florist and current demand.
What if the exact flowers I want are out of stock?
Florists may use a substitution policy, replacing unavailable blooms with similar or higher-value flowers. If substitutions aren’t acceptable, request a confirmation and discuss alternatives before ordering.
Can flowers be delivered to hospitals and funeral homes?
Yes. Provide the recipient's full name, room number or unit for hospitals, and the service details for funeral homes to ensure smooth delivery. Some facilities have specific delivery hours or acceptance rules.
How should I care for cut flowers after delivery?
Re-cut stems at a diagonal, use a clean vase and fresh water, add flower food if provided, remove foliage below the water line, and keep arrangements cool and out of direct sunlight.
When should I order for holidays or special events?
For holidays, weekends, and large events, order as early as possible—often several days to a week ahead—to secure the best selection and desired delivery window.
