Can I get same-day flower delivery in Stony Point?
Yes. Many local florists offer same-day delivery for orders placed before the florist’s cutoff time, typically in the late morning or early afternoon. Confirm the cutoff when you order.
How far in advance should I order for a wedding or large event?
For weddings and large events, order at least several weeks in advance. This gives florists time to source seasonal flowers, prepare custom designs, and coordinate delivery and setup.
What if the recipient is in a hospital or funeral home?
Provide full recipient details including room number, chapel, and any staff instructions. Florists usually coordinate with hospital or funeral staff to ensure proper delivery and placement.
What is the substitution policy if my chosen flowers are not available?
Florists commonly substitute equal-or-higher-quality blooms when specific flowers are unavailable. If you have strict preferences, note them when ordering and ask the florist to confirm substitutions beforehand.
How can I keep delivered flowers fresh longer?
Trim stems at an angle, use clean water and the supplied flower food, change the water every two days, keep arrangements out of direct sun and away from heat sources, and remove wilted blooms promptly.
