Frequently Asked Questions
Who delivers flowers same-day in Amherst, Ohio?
The Flowers Directory arranges same-day flower delivery in Amherst through local partner florists. Order by 1:00 PM local time, Monday–Saturday (no Sunday delivery). $19.99 flat delivery fee, arrangements from $79.95. Order help: (888) 610-8262.
Can I get same-day delivery in Amherst?
Yes. Same-day delivery is commonly available for in-stock arrangements if ordered before the florist's daily cutoff (often early to mid-afternoon). Orders placed after the cutoff are usually processed for next-day delivery.
How do I arrange delivery to a hospital or funeral home?
Provide the full facility name, department or room number (if available), and any access instructions when placing the order. Be aware some locations have restricted delivery hours or specific check-in procedures.
What if my selected flowers are out of stock?
Many florists substitute unavailable flowers with blooms of equal or greater value and similar color/feel. If substitutions are not acceptable, request a hold or refund and discuss alternatives with the florist before confirming your order.
When should I place an order for a wedding or large event?
For weddings and large events, contact a florist several weeks to months in advance. Lead time ensures availability of specific flowers, allows for consultations, and provides time for custom designs and delivery logistics.
How do I keep my bouquet fresh longer?
Recut stems at a 45-degree angle, use clean water and floral preservative, change the water every 2–3 days, remove foliage below the water line, and keep arrangements in a cool location away from direct sunlight and ripening fruit.
