Do florists in Worthington offer same-day delivery?
Many local florists offer same-day delivery for orders placed before their cutoff time, typically late morning to early afternoon; call or order online early to increase your chances.
How far in advance should I order for holidays or special events?
For high-demand days like Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day, and major holidays, place orders several days to a week in advance to ensure availability and preferred delivery windows.
Can I have flowers delivered to a hospital or funeral home?
Yes. Provide the recipient’s full name, room or chapel details, and any delivery instructions; florists will follow venue policies, but it’s helpful to confirm receiving hours.
What happens if a requested flower is out of season or unavailable?
Florists typically substitute similar-quality seasonal blooms. Ask the shop to note whether substitutions are acceptable when you place the order.
How should I care for flowers after delivery to make them last longer?
Recut stems at an angle, place flowers in clean water with flower food, change water every 2–3 days, remove foliage below the waterline, and keep arrangements away from direct heat and sunlight.
