How to connect

• Claude: add The Flowers Directory from Claude's connector directory. Until the listing appears, add it as a custom connector with the server address above; Anthropic explains how in Add a connector that isn't in the directory.
• Other assistants and developer tools: any client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP can connect to https://www.theflowersdirectory.com/mcp. Choose no authentication.

What the connector does

Search arrangements	Finds arrangements and plants by occasion, color, flower type, budget or keywords, with photos and the price including the $19.99 delivery fee.
Arrangement details	All photos, size when published, the full description and the substitution policy for one arrangement.
Delivery dates	Checks a ZIP code for a specific date, or lists the next available dates and whether same-day delivery is still possible before the 1:00 PM cutoff in the recipient's time zone.
Checkout link	Returns a purchase link with the exact delivery fee, tax and total for the recipient's ZIP.
Prefilled checkout	If you give the assistant the recipient's name, venue, room, card message or instructions, it can save them for 24 hours and return a link that opens checkout with those details filled in. Your assistant may ask before doing this, because it stores details on our site.
Order status	Looks up an order you placed, using the order number and the email address you used at checkout, and shows the scheduled delivery date. It does not offer live courier tracking.
Venue guidance	What to send to a funeral home, hospital, place of worship, office, home or senior living facility, what the florist needs to know, and local funeral home and hospital listings from our directory.
Local florists	Lists florists in a city from our directory pages. Orders placed with us are made and delivered by a florist in our fulfillment partner Florist One's network, which may or may not be one of the listed shops.

Privacy and data handling

The connector receives only what the assistant sends to it, which is the information needed for each request. It does not receive your conversation, and it does not set cookies.

• Usage logging: for each request we log the tool used, the product code and the ZIP code, with a pseudonymous hash of the requesting IP address and the name of the assistant, to measure how the connector is used. We do not log names, card messages, order numbers or email addresses.
• Prefilled checkout details: when an assistant creates a prefilled checkout, we store the recipient name, venue, room, card message, instructions, ZIP and date for 24 hours so the checkout page can fill in the form. After 24 hours the link stops working and the details are deleted within the hour; our database provider's backups can retain deleted data for up to 30 days. The link contains a random code, not the details themselves.
• Order lookups: the order number and email address are used only to find and verify your order with our fulfillment partner. They are not stored or logged by the connector, and the reply leaves out street addresses, names and card messages.
• Service providers: delivery availability, pricing and order lookups go to Florist One, our fulfillment partner. The connector runs on Cloudflare. We do not sell this data or use it for advertising.
